Outlook/Outlook Express Error Messages

The following table is a list of possible error codes returned by Microsoft Outlook Express when a failure occurs sending and receiving mail, along with explanations. Error numbers that are linked contain more detailed information.

0x800 CCC78 SMTP_REJECTED_SENDER - The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. This is caused by having the incorrect e-mail address in the Reply-To field.
0x800 CCC79 SMTP_REJECTED_RECIPIENTS - The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server.
0x800 CCC7A SMTP_NO_SENDER - No sender address specified.
0x800 CCC7B SMTP_NO_RECIPIENTS - No recipients specified.

POP3 Errors

0x800 C013B - Message: An unknown error has occurred Server.
691 - Access denied because user name and / or password was rejected or Access denied because username and/or password is invalid on the domain.
