No sender address specified

When trying to send an email in Microsoft Outlook Express you may encounter the following error message:

Connection to the server has failed, account 'mail.chilipepperweb.net' error: 0x800CCC7A : No sender address specified.

This error occurs when the sender details in the Outlook Express configuration file are either damaged, corrupt or missing.

To rectify this situation, make sure that the sender's email address is present and correct in your account settings.

• Confirm your email address, and apply the changes if necessary.
• If it is present, and correct, then delete and recreate your Outlook Express account.
