Logon Attempt Failed

When checking your email using Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express you may encounter the following error message:

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

The most common causes of this error are:

  • Your email configuration is incorrect.

Reboot your computer, reconnect to the Internet, and try checking your email again.

Check that your username and password have both been entered correctly.
